I read on another forum, (can’t remember which one-sorry) that
Scott Brown is receiving funds from the RNC. I don’t think they have to take out full-page ads for every candidate they are helping.

I do wish people would have facts to back up what they say when they go off on rants and tangents.

We have no way of knowing whether or not the RNC is sending financial aid. I am of the opinion that they are, and will stand by my belief until proven otherwise.

I’m pretty sure that has come from Brown himself, perhaps he is down playing their support.

Catsrus, I agree and appreciate you giving the RNC the benefit of the doubt.

One hypothesis that explains everyone’s behavior is that they all find it wise to hold their cards close to the vest. Why tell the Dems how much is being spent on Brown’s campaign? This seat is so important that the Dems will spend any amount trying to keep it. For Losing Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat in the bluest of all blue states would spell the end to every last aspect of their agenda.

So for every dollar that the RNC announces that it is sending, the Dems send ten dollars. Thus, the RNC’s strategy must be to announce nothing. Keep the powder dry and the Dems guessing.

Surely Steele knows that if Brown loses a close race for lack of financial support, the RNC is toast. I can’t believe he would make that mistake.
