NEW YORK -- Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton drew guns on each other during a Christmas Eve locker room argument over a gambling debt, according to The New York Post.

Last week, the Wizards and Arenas acknowledged that Arenas had stored unloaded firearms in a container in his locker, and the NBA said it was looking into the situation.

It was during that investigation that a confrontation between Arenas and Crittenton was revealed, according to a Yahoo! Sports report. The dispute stemmed from an unspecified disagreement, sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Citing an anonymous source, the Post reported in Friday's edition, however, that the standoff was sparked when Crittenton became angry at Arenas for refusing to make good on a gambling debt.

What’s interesting that before they were called Wizards, Washington used to be called “Bullets’. Funny, huh?

Maybe President Useless should hold a ‘Gun Summit’ between Arenas and Crittenden.

But, hold the beer.

Not surprised at all.
The NAACP/NBA is an organization dominated by street thugs that have become millionaires playing basketball.
I haven’t watched an NBA game in over 10 years and never will again.
Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird. Those were real “professionals”

“Dumb jocks” is not a fabricated term, it is an observation.

Did they have their “sights from the hood?” Can’t use that sideways aim without them!

Arenas I am not shocked about, but Crittenden, that is a surprise. He played here on the Lakers for a year, seemed like a classy guy. I guess when you go to a garbage team like the Wizards, bad things happen. Perhaps they should change the name back to the “Bullets”

Whats funny also is that they changed the name because “it was too violent”. This was about 10 years before the Heller case.

The NBA ought to just let ‘em pack heat on the court. It might turn me into a basketball fan.

Meanwhile Pete Rose waits for the day he can be inducted into Baseballs hall of fame. And he never pulled a gun on anyone.

The guns are one thing, but what were they gambling on? Isn't this worth a look?
