Age of consent should be 16. Drinking age should be lowered back to 18. Voting age ought to be raised back up to 21 40.Let's be reasonable.

Evidence? And not from some quack?
We live in a society where those who used to be out working for a living are coddled into an extended childhood that extends into college. 18 as the standard is a post-war concept, which is the era where young adults became "teenagers." I'm willing to bet that it could be raised to 21 by the time I die.
I think 16 should be standard. By that time, unless you have been coddled, you should have an idea as to right and wrong.

According to the article, the 16 year old claimed to be 20. According to the picture, he would probably be carded for a happy meal.

Hey, add to that, if you’re on welfare or working a gubmint job, you also shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

How do we know how current a picture that is? No idea, but I'd wager it's off Facebook or some other "lookit me" site.

The article says the kid was so addicted to WOW, that he rarely attended school. It also stated that he left the house to meet his sweetie with.....his new laptop that he got for Christmas.
Nice, Mom and Dad, real nice.

When my children were teens, they did not have TVs nor computers in their rooms. Eveyone around me decried my lack of respect for their privacy. Their privacy was not my concern.
I have no idea why people fight to let children make adult decisions and then are astounded that the children make childish choices. Parents are supposed to protect their children even from themselves.
