An opposition news website is reporting that Iran has imported high-tech armored anti-riot vehicles equipped with water cannons that can douse people with boiling water or teargas.
The U.S.-based Persian-language news website Rahesabz, or Green Path, posted a photograph of what it described as a photograph of two of the trucks arriving at the Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas in the south.

Take two water balloons and some two-part instant foam insulation. You can get it from a hardware store. Fill one balloon with part A of the insulation mix, and the other balloon with part B. When they are both thrown at the target they pop, mix and foam. You throw them at the vehicle’s radiator. It will foam into the radiator and harden.
Another approach is to throw a bag of flour into the air intake. It will clog the air intake and the motor will die right away.
Laser pointers can also wreak havoc with the armed escorts, blinding them either temporarily or permanently depending on the wavelength/color.
“It will clog the air intake and the motor will die right away.”
I meant it will clog the air filter.

Just create the challenge for the mechanics at a professional racing garage and the possibilities are endless. The expanding foam idea has possibilities but it needs to be mixed more than just a surface meeting to make it expand in bulk. The paint ball one is better because turning on the wipers actually make it worse. Just make sure it is an oil based paint.
Still, the potato in the tail pipe is a classic
DVD burners have high powered lasers in them. Blue ray ones have blue lasers that are very efficient in damaging vision. Thus there are laser options even if there are no laser pointers.
Another approach is to rig a collimated strobe that would flash in the direction of the military escorts, thus putting spots of temporary blindness in their field of vision. Do that a few times and they would not be able to shoot or drive. An overhead projector could be used in this way.
