In after the Paulies....I heard the SA’s little rant against all things Conservative this morning in SC. As ever he makes some good points regarding small gov but once again runs off the rails just like the rest of the Leftytarians and Paulies on the Islamist war on civilization as well as his little rants against Christians. Reminds me of the Paulies attack on the Tea Parties.

With each successive administration, government keeps getting bigger, our debt gets larger and our military stretched greater, for reasons that are vague at best. Americans may indeed be ready for a serious change, especially as they begin to realize Obama aint it.And if all Republicans have to offer is more of the same -- Bush III or McCain II -- they are not going to be able to utilize this opportunity not to fade into into complete obscurity, once and for all.

Well, if you don't agree with much of this article, does that make you a “Bushbot”?
If so, I guess I am one.
Bush never pretended to be anything other than a mainline Republican. What he was, though, was a man confronted with a modern Pearl Harbor.
So, it isn't hypocritical to condemn a Balkan intervention where there was no national security at stake and no way to tell who the right players were, and then turn around and try to confront a threat against the nation with 3,000 dead. What he wasn't was brain dead to changing circumstances.
What this author was, was brain dead to context. Plus it isn't fair to Bush to smear him altogether for big government. He had a lot to fix after the Clinton years and those attempts he floated, such as medical savings accounts and an alternative to Social Security were dead on arrival. Foreign policy I would grade him an A+. Domestic, C or C-. Far better than the straight F's the current crowd has earned.
