You did good!!! You did right. You can always ask the clerk later what happened. Did you happen to notice what products he was scoping?
He was looking at the silk flowers, vases, some paints and frames. He wasn’t pushing a cart either.
The fact that he kept looking around (like you would if you thought someone was watching you) was what really unnerved me. Plus being in the restroom for so long.
Next time I’m in the store I’ll ask the manager what happened.
