ANY industry which requires CONGRESS to enact legislation that they are no longer, by law, permitted to lock up travellers with no food & water and leave them on the concourse overnight is SAFE. Not to my mind.
The ONLY airline I would ever consider getting on is El Al, and then I will drive to the nearest city they service.
Most Americans fly. Most Americans would consider my views peculiar & paranoid.
Myself, I have NO idea why they'd ever travel on a form of transportation where it is OBVIOUS to me that they are considered to be dispensible chattel. I will NEVER willingly fly on any airline than El Al, EVER.

Air Canada, and JAL are good Air Lines too.But then , you get what you pay for.
I will continue to fly out of Canada internationally, where they have a profiling based security system.I personally know exactly how to prevent myself from being treated as chattel. LOL. But you can treat me as such. I likely would enjoy that! LOL.
(BTW, no stewardess or ticket agent has ever succeeded in treating me as chattel, and if necessary I just pay them 75 bucks and transfer to another airline, but thats only been once.)
