This is probably not the right forum for this post, but all my FR friends are here.
I have been on the computer, phone, and e-mail since midnight following the earthquake news. Our son is in Santiago, Chile, staying at the San Cristobal hotel. (our company imports wine from there and he was visting the wineries) We finally were able to reach him about eight this morning. He is fine, but unable to get a flight out for a few days.
He said Concepcion was hit really hard. Please pray for the beautiful people there.
Stressful day for Mom, Dad and his wife.
Thank God your son is okay. Praying aftershocks don’t affect him and everyone else there in Chile. Praying for your son’s safe return home RR!
Please take care of YOU, RR -- what a horrifically stressful day you've had.
Thank G-d your son is alive and soon to arrive back home in the Black Hills.
Please keep us all updated.
Oh my - thank God he is alright.
I can’t imagine a quake that big - I think 7.1 was my limit in California and that has scarred me for life. Darn things are more frightening than people can imagine!
I hope the airport is open soon.
God Bless RR, had no idea he was in that beautiful country. So glad he’s OK, prayers for his rapid & safe return home honey
