Rush is an Inspiration.
The morning of New Years Eve 2009 and reports from Honolulu are sketchy at best. They indicate that Rush Limbaugh has been hospitalized for chest pains. For more than twenty years Rush has provided lessons from his perch in front of the Golden EIB (Excellence in Broadcasting) microphone articulating and sometimes embellishing a conservative perspective. Rush has never been shy about describing the incongruence as he found it which, articulate the difference between the political right and left. When he had a bone to pick with a liberal newsmaker, he went out of his way to describe the battleground before launching into a verbal offense or defense, depending on the need.
Rush stands for conservative principals and a fair shake for everyone. The recent flap regarding Rushs ownership of an NFL team is a prime example. He was accused of making bigoted remarks, a search was performed and none were revealed yet the baseless character assignation had already taken place.
During this, Rushs hour of medical need, a brief tour was conducted of one of the far left web sites; The Daily Kos. Since the Daily Kos is an internet meeting place for left social thinking and ideals it seemed appropriate to observe the thought process that comprise that thinking. The following are one liners taken directly from the Daily Kos on New Years Eve 2009.
While reading, try to imagine Rush ever saying anything like this during his show:
1) Remember kids, if nothing else, Karma's a bitch, and she doesn't take sides.
2) I hate him when he's sick or well. I hate him dead or alive. I hate him breathing the same air as me, I hate everything about Rush... AND IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD!! I've never understood how hating an evil f***** like Rush could harm one but to me hating Rush is good clean fun. 3) It would be hypocritical to wish him well. 4) May he burn in hell... The question Rush has asked his listeners for years has to do with discerning any moral equivalency between the left and right ideologies. It seems the Daily Kos has answered this question even better than Rush could have if he were sitting behind the Golden EIB microphone today. Rush is a public figure and whether you agree with him or not, wishing him well during this medical emergency is the RIGHT thing to do.
Good wishes to Rush for a speedy recovery. He will be in my novena tonight.
As for the Daily Kos folk, well, I pity them. I would suggest this advice for them: Don’t take yourself too seriously, no one else does.
We will pray for Rush. He is a good guy.
I consider myself slightly to the right of Rush when it comes to politics. That man has a mammoth intellect, he comes up with some pretty sharp ideas. I wish him a speedy recovery and a Happy New Year.
The libturds are a classless pile of pukes.
Rush Limbaugh is the one that first made me to understand what it is to be a conservative and that I am a conservative! I started really listening to him as I drove to college. His intelligence, wit, decency, and Missouri-born ability to level w/ his audience (not putting on any pretenses) is what earned my respect and listening loyalty.
A day without Rush is a day w/o sunshine... Rush get well soon!
