On December 26, two days after Nigerian Omar Abdulmutallab allegedly attempted to use underwear packed with plastic explosives to blow up the Amsterdam-to-Detroit flight he was on, and as it became clear internally that the Administration had suffered perhaps its most embarrassing failure in the area of national security, senior Obama White House aides, including chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and new White House counsel Robert Bauer, ordered staff to begin researching similar breakdowns -- if any -- from the Bush Administration.

Just goes to show that "class" is not always a good thing. Louis XVI had it in a tumbrel. Nicholas II had it, with similar results disastrous to his nation. The Duke of Windsor had class, but as a leader he preferred to get down on his knees and sport a feather duster installed in his butt.

Nor do I even concede the point that Bushes have class. Decency, courtesy, good educations, and records of service to the nation, they have. None of these things are solidly adherent to the upper class, who tend to be spoiled, ignorant parasites.

I used to LOVE Capital Steps.
A strange malaise has come over them though.
Their last performance in Palm Beach was lackluster to say the least, as all their jokes were about administrations from a few YEARS ago.

There was not ONE jibe at Obama.

The Obamatons claiming "US intel dropped the ball" is a bogus excuse for their own monumental incompetence.

For example---read the book about nerdy crook Martin Frankel. The FBI was tracking him after Frankel absconded overseas to evade prosecution.

Intel agencies knew where he was and what he was doing every minute They knew what departing gate he was at, what European hotel he was in, and who was with him.

They let him travel b/c they needed to nab him with the assets he stole (which he converted into diamonds).

He posed as an "investment genius." He was engaged in money-laundering schemes. He formed a "charity" to give himself the aura of a do-gooder. Frankel swindled $200 million---he bought insurance companies and swindled policy holders.

Why didn’t OblamaBush change the systems in his first year of office? If he knew they were outdated and flawed...isn’t this a dereliction of duty? Isn’t his highest priority to protect this nation?
