HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.

Rush Limbaigh, champion of values such as life, liberty, and the free market, was rushed to the hospital in Hawaii this evening and, according to reports, may be in "serious" condition.
Appranetly, pramedics were called when Rush complained of chest pains and he has been taken to an area hospital.

I was at Dan’s Bake Sale. It was raining that day, and the moment Rush took the stage, a ray of light broke through a cloud and shined down on the stage. That is not a joke.
Good times. Thousands of people flooding the streets, and not a drop of trash to be found. When the trash cans became too full, people stacked the trash next to them. The police and city were amazed at how quickly the cleanup went.
Rush, get better and let’s do it again.

Could easily have been gallbladder, or even indigestion, OR he pulled something in chest area.
Every case of chest pain is treated as ‘serious’ (it’s happened to me) so it’s hard to tell what’s what just yet —this just happened a couple of hours ago.
The day after Christmas my boyfriend suffered really bizarre upper abdominal pain/discomfort but he won’t go to doctors so he toughed it out — I think it was all his mother’s incredibly rich food (I was afflicted last year) but he’s fine now.
There are so many possibilities with chest pain — we just must have patience and keep up the prayers and good wishes.
