HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
Medical personnel are too professional to let their personal political views affect their treatment of patients. Rush will get the best care possible that’s available at whatever hospital. We pray to God that the medical teams at Queens or Tripler or any hospital that treats him are the best skilled and will be guided to bring him to full, complete and speedy healing.
Agreed entirely - I was responding to the person who claimed all physicians could spell. I'm married to a pretty smart guy and he can't spell at all. He can give you chemical data and formulas he learned in college 35 years ago though. And anything pertaining to his work as a dentist (as long as he doesn't have to spell it).
I believe Rush is about 58 or 59.
A lot will depend on the enzyme tests. They’ll want to run about three of them to confirm if he did or didn’t have a heart attack. That should tell the tale. Afterwards they can do an echo and get his ejection fraction and they even have this machine which can actually tell the condition of the heart muscle and blood vessels that is non-invasive.
If the enzyme tests come back positive he probably had a heart attack. If they are clean he probably didn’t. Wait for those to come back.
I wonder if he was keeping his blood pressure under control. That can also push the heart too hard and contract the arteries leading to a heart attack in the absence of clogged arteries.

People grieve differently. I know a man who loved his wife a lot, their car crashed, she died in his arms- he married a few months later.
There is no greater testimony to the good Rush Limbaugh is doing, and has done, for America than the behavior of his (and our) enemies now.
