Youve heard by now the Haskell story right? In case you havent lets start there. Kurt Haskell is an attorney. He and his wife were in Amsterdam that day after a safari and Kurt witnessed the underwear bomber (Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab) before the flight being aided by what Haskell described to be an older Indian gentleman who was well dressed.
[...] Mr. Haskell recalled that just before being questioned about the sharp dressed man incident a man was pulled into a room, handcuffed, and detained by authorities. Who was he? Why was he detained? Is there any relevance to the story?
Haskell described the man as being a much younger Indian man. After the incident authorities asked the passengers to move to another location. Obviously it was a big deal. Surely the larger media outlets could find out who this man was and what he was detained for. According to Haskell the authorities then told the passengers that obviously they had a problem. The passengers were then told they could figure out what was going on but nothing more. Something doesnt smell right and its not the underwear bomb...

"There was a second person taken into custody, but it had nothing to do with Flight 253," Smith said. "They did see dogs, but again, it was a totally different incident."
Second airport arrest unrelated to attack
Now move along, nothing to see here ; )
Maybe the second guy was not ment to die in the crash and was removed from the flight?
Are you saying that names of drug runners arrested on flights with terrorists cannot be reported? Riiiiiiight.
The muzzies go crazy for a sharp dressed man...................
I know that there are Freepers with far more expertise in this than I have but, IIRC, Dogs trained to sniff out explosive devices don't 'key' or 'alert' on other substances. Just as drug dogs don't necessarily alert on explosive devices. Each are trained to key on a specific substance FWIW.

If you flew from Amsterdam to the U.S. you had your passport checked. Remember the short interview you had just before you boarded the plane? You then also went through a magnetometer just adter the interview.
I was connecting in Amsterdam. It was just a short layover, and really they announced boarding and we just boarded the plane. Going through Singapore I can remember having to have to go through security again there.
Thanks for the link. It sounds like the authorities studied the passengers accounts and made something up to dovetail.
I don’t believe them until they release the whole story about the second guy.
I saw the attorney and his wife interviewed on Fox yesterday, and had heard about it even before that.
Did they talk about the second arrest on Fox?
They might if enough people write and ask. Meantime; we do not know yet, the ‘why/who/what’ involvement of the Indian man who got him on the plane (they authorities certainly know; but yes, and for sure. . .not many questions being thrown around out there.)
Yes.
If the “bombing in Yemen” means the joint offensive against al Qaeda forces that killed Nidal Hassan’s favorite Iman... it WAS covered, on Christmas Eve, on FOXNews. They carried a “Breaking News” alert, and I saw it live.
dogs can be trained to alert for more than one kind of item, it is only my opinion but I do not believe it is a cover up just some guy with bad luck that brought dope on the same plane as the bomber.
Passengers were moved to another area for their safety because of drugs in someone’s bag?
sorry, where does it say that the passengers were moved becuse of the gentleman that was arrested?
