A growing number of former Guantanamo Bay detainees are said to be returning to terrorism in the Middle East and elsewhere.
The Pentagon most recently released a report in May showing that one in seven former detainees either returned, or is suspected of returning, to terrorist activity. At least two of them have taken leading roles in Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the group that has claimed responsibility for the attempted bombing of a Northwest Airlines flight on Christmas Day.
The Obama administration says it will proceed with caution in transferring any more detainees out of Guantanamo Bay but is determined to shutter the facility.
The following is a partial list, based on the information made public by the Pentagon, of former detainees thought to have returned to the battlefield.

Exactly. I think people lose track of where the Gitmo detainees are from... It isn't like they are randomly gathered civilians. These are people captured on the battlefield, engaged in terrorist activities, and/or arrested working directly with terrorists.
If we can't waterboard them, then just end their consumption of valuable oxygen (and radically decrease their "carbon footprint"!)....

So releasing them was a mistake! So all the hypocritical moaning by liberals was a distraction! So all the fuss about “torture” was a joke!
Somehow I don’t think this will be enough to shut liberals the xxxx up.
Even William Ayers himself has said that he hasn’t ruled out ever committing further terrorist acts.
We turned loose captured combatants to appease antiAmerican liberal activists (with terrorist sympathies).
I am not surprised that a number of them have returned to jihad and killed themselves and others in suicide bombings.
