Blessed be the Name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings” Daniel 2:20-21
Who are the Bassiji and where do they come from?
Who pays them?
I can’t make sense of the websites provided when I goggle “Bassiji.”
That said of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, You shall be built; and to the temple, Your foundation shall be laid.
Isaiah 44:28
I am all for a nations freedom, my concern with Iran is Who is ready to assume and lead Iran with peaceful intentions, not only for Irans people..but from a world wide perspective?
If this government falls...who will take its place?
Exactly! and we should be concerned. Their history of leadership via what we see happening now, doesn’t encourage me their will be alot of difference....rather this will at least give pause for a time.
bump
The Basiji are volunteers. They are not paid, but are provided with some basic things like transport and clothes. Their duties are comparable to the National Guard in the US. They are called up when needed. They do security work for the govt - thus fighting protestors - but also more ordinary work such as digging up after earthquakes. They are usually young working class men with few employment options. Service as a basiji gives them the possibility of later on getting a paid position in the Revolutionary Guards, and other govt corps.
The Basij are either imported Syrians, Lebanese,(Hizbullah,) or palestinian foreign street thugs to Iran who do not understand Farsi, for the most part, so they will be less inclined to show compassion if they don’t understand the pleas. Some are the underclass Iranians who will accept blood money no matter where it comes from. They are paid by the regime and are indiscriminate in their use of barbaric tactics. They will just as soon crack the skulls of helpless small children as they would young men who would fight back.
The original Ayatollah Khamenei was in exi;le in France...
at least that is where he was living when he returned in 1979...
The present IWannaJihad was one of the students who kidnapped the Westerners at the American Embassy and held them for 444 days until 12 Noon January 20, 1981..
Then the Ayatollah came back amongst a big celebration..
You would have though the 12th Imam had returned...
Persia was never a world power.

Will he have to fly in a “no-fly” zone? Knock him out of the air!
Is that “revolution” a hoax distracting our attention from the nuclear program?
It’s stll isslamists against islamists
What you have stated is partially true. But from back when these protests first began, the regime began importing foreign thugs who are the “new” Basij. That is why they are so hard to get a handle on.
All freedom loving people can learn from the great courage of the Iranian people.
They have the guts to stand up to a tyrannical government! They have shown that they can comunicate and organize! They have spread leadership roles and abilities throughout the population incase a leader falls the revolution continues and they are not afraid to fight and die for the cause!
It matters not what our marxist governments opinoins are. Freedom is an irresistable right of all Human beings. I pray they win theirs!
ALSO someone is impersonating persiankiwi on Twitter so beware that. Please check on the elderly scenario because I am given to understand they will publicize a slaughter supposedly carried out by the dissidents and that it will be soon. This did not come from a public source and I have lost contact. I am very worried.
Ezekiel 38 Is not the end time battle. It is the war that gives rise to the anti Christ. The period of false peace will come after this war then the great tribulation and the final war that ushers in the second coming of Christ. Atleast that is my understanding on the subject.
I have been to a few places.
Thank you, President Peanut.
