Senator Is the Centerfold (Scott Brown pics)
Cosmo ^ | Sept 22, 2009 (June 1982)

Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.

“Here at Cosmo we’ve had bachelors go on to be actors, models, and reality show stars, so we’re thrilled that one has gone on to become a politician,” says Kate White, Cosmo’s editor in chief. Obviously we know how to pick ’em. This particular bachelor has always had political ambitions and even admitted to being “a bit of a patriot” when we interviewed him.

Scott Brown, not only has a nice family,

Senator Brown is a proud member of the Massachusetts National Guard, where he has served for nearly three decades and currently holds the rank of Lt. Colonel in the Judge Advocate Generals (JAG) Corps.

I’ve heard the same thing about his signs being everywhere. Earlier this week I read a post at Flopping Aces where he was actually leading, but the poster didn’t cite the source of the poll.

Romney could be helpful right now, but as his habit, when the chips are down, I see hide nor hair of him.

meh

I went to a male-revue back in the day. Once.

Scared the living hell out of me, when I saw how the 60+ gals were acting.

Never went again.

I realize this, of course. He also sold one of his homes here in UT as well. He’s living in CA now.

That doesn’t mean he can’t help Scott Brown politically (and help raise money for him).

Romney could be helpful right now, but as his habit, when the chips are down, I see hide nor hair of him.

Just like with Kerry Healey's run, Mitt is MIA. I have no love for him, but he could get Scott Brown some needed face time in the press. The media has written the conclusion of this race already, and the RNC has given him $50,000 and some voter lists. Big deal. This is the 60th Senate seat, for cryin' out loud...this should be a national race and story.

Plus, the idea of Martha Croakley as Senator...gag.

Nearly every other day, we gals are subjected to nearly nude female pics being posted here...and we’re expected to say nothing and allow them to stay up. And usually, those have absolutely NOTHING to do with politics.

True, and pathetic.

To me, this is a missed opportunity for Romney. This is prolly all the proof anyone needs that it’s all about him, and he’s not much of a leader.

Sticking his neck out a bit in a race that is crucial nationally, would improve his bona-fides some. I’m surprised he’s not at least fund-raising a little.

(or if he is, I haven’t heard of it)

The first pic is the now Lt. Col JAG who is running for Ted Kennedy’s Senate Seat.
