Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.
“Here at Cosmo we’ve had bachelors go on to be actors, models, and reality show stars, so we’re thrilled that one has gone on to become a politician,” says Kate White, Cosmo’s editor in chief. Obviously we know how to pick ’em. This particular bachelor has always had political ambitions and even admitted to being “a bit of a patriot” when we interviewed him.

If those pics are a problem this country is screwed. He was 22, and probably made some decent money off of those. Maybe even got laid a few times. Jeez, Kennedy killed a woman and they worshiped his fat ass.

About 25 years ago I worked with a guy who posed for PlayGirl. He was gay.
Chippendales does not allow men in for the first few hours because Chippendales dancers are all gay. They let men in later.
Caveat: I have never been to Chippendales.

So what is the argument the liberals are suggesting with these repeated stories about this? He’s not fit to be senator because he posed for some half-naked pictures when he was in his twenties?
Considering the standard set by the last holder of that seat was getting behind the wheel of a car stinking drunk, driving off a bridge and leaving his passenger to suffocate to death, I don’t think Scott has anything to worry about when it comes to “being fit to hold the office”.
I see lots of Scott Brown signs everywhere and very few Marfa Croakley signs...her signs are usually on public roadway islands where Brown’s signs are on lawns owned by actual voters...
