Senator Is the Centerfold (Scott Brown pics)
Cosmo ^ | Sept 22, 2009 (June 1982)

Posted on 12/29/2009 7:00:29 PM PST by Daisyjane69

Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.

“Here at Cosmo we’ve had bachelors go on to be actors, models, and reality show stars, so we’re thrilled that one has gone on to become a politician,” says Kate White, Cosmo’s editor in chief. Obviously we know how to pick ’em. This particular bachelor has always had political ambitions and even admitted to being “a bit of a patriot” when we interviewed him.

Yeah, I’ve read several of the threads and watched as certain out-of-state posters weighed in with their negative opinions about Scott Brown. The Coakley woman is a disaster. She would be worse than Boxer whenever possible and that’s going some. Speaking of Boxer, 2010 is the year when we have a chance to send her packing, so expect to hear from out-of-state posters telling us that our eventual nominee isn’t up to standards blah, blah blah.

Good and thanks for the confirmation.
I make it my practice to stay out of politics that aren’t my state’s business whenever I can’t add anything positive, but I’m sure hoping for Scott Brown to win and I’m calling his campaign tomorrow to make a donation. If they’re not in, I’ll do it online. I just want them to know that he has a little out of state support. :)

This is the 60th Senate seat, for cryin' out loud...this should be a national race and story.

Yep... Have to say that I have heard next to nothing about it until I saw the original post. I wonder how voters in MA are feeling about having Obamacare rammed down their throats? Hoping that the fact that it's a special election will bring low Dem turnout and maybe Obummercare will encourage independents to vote for him.

They don’t like it, we’ve had very well attended Tea Parties, the reason you haven’t heard about it is Brown has a decent chance....the RNC has to play this carefully...send money (lots of it) and step back and let Brown win on the merits, I think he can.

I think there could be a spillover from neighboring Conn. and their down and dirty Dodd and perhaps a few Dems. in Mass. may see where their party is headed and may want off that train.

OMG...I know this guy. His daughter made it to the finals of American Idol like the second or third season. She was great and she was a basketball player too. I remember the handsome family and hearing that he was in politics. The daughter was very talented! Posed nude AND had a daughter on American Idol..he certainly understands pop culture! I’m going to see if there’s any YOUTUBE Video of her singing...

Ah... I see your point. Well, the RNC had better send LOTS of money. This race *is* winnable. Seniors vote and hopefully they're mad at democrats and maybe, just maybe, the Christmas Day terrorist attack will send enough voters to Brown who obviously understands the dangers we face from Islamofascists and he's totally against the show trial in NYC.

Amen Sister, and he has called for the latest terrorist to be treated as one, and tried by a military tribunal.

and always for those who would like to contribute to Scott:

(Just for the record I’m not part of his campaign but will be voting for him.)
