Well, since I never found myself in a Civil Union with a person of my same gender, I cannot fully appreciate her plight. However, she did elect to enter into the Civil Union and have a child.
And at this point in the process, both the Vermont and Virginia courts have ruled against Ms. Miller and our society would devolve into chaos if each of us decided that for what ever reason we would not comply with laws and court orders.
I will comply with court orders that are moral & just. Not immoral & unjust laws. You're using the Nazi defense that they were "only following orders". Would you turn in your guns if the liberals & courts decide that you can no longer own a gun? What about doctors who will be ordered to perform abortions under ObozoCare? Would you turn your kids over if ordered by a judge? Even our military gives our soldiers the right to refuse to obey immoral & unjust orders. BTW I was listening to some YouTube videos of Michael Savage as he absolutely destroys liberals and their demented liberal logic. History is filled with "laws" that were created with the sole purpose of butchering & murdering people. The first thing Hitler did was to make "laws" that singled out & identified Jews, their businesses & their homes. We know how that turned out. Our own country had laws that at one time permitted slavery and prosecuted anyone who gave aid or assistance to helping slaves escape to freedom. Our country was founded by patriots who rebelled against unjust, immoral laws and refused to obey them and took up arms against the King of England. We have the right to take up arms against a corrupt ruling government (according to the Declaration of Independence) "That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government". Dear Lord.. People, look, I am convinced that homosexuals abuse children as a percentage much higher than heterosexuals, but for God’s sake,let’s get a grip here. Any parent will tell you that they bath with thier children at very young ages. I even bathed with my daughter until she was 2, and I’m a man.. Good grief!! let’s keep things in perspective here. The difference in this case is that girl in this case is a virtual stranger to Jenkins.
Perhaps, but from what I gleen from the information is that, Jenkins was with the Mother for at least a year after the baby wasborn,and the separation. After which, the Mother denied Jenkins any visitation priviledges, refusing to abode by the court order concerning parents right’s, and disregarding any direction from the courts on her behavior.
In a nut shell, the Mother (in the guise of protecting her daughter) was in contempt. Which, by the way I might add. If you want to hear horror stories about the family court system in the USA, it’s not that difficult to research. The bias towards men in this country is egregious, but it’s getting better. Woman lie, and purger themselves all the time, and are left to unaccount for their lies. In a spearation where children are involved, it is almost mandatory that the female file for a protection order against the man, even if there is no valid reason to do so..
It’s a system that is need of serious overhaul, I can tell you first hand as I went, and am continuing to go through it! I stopped paying for lawyers as they all seemed complicit in the whole scheme, and what I did was educate myself with 1000’s of hours of legal research, and I have represented myself for years now.
The truth is that, unless you catch your ex with a frigging needle in her arm, as a man, you stand little chance of getting shared custody. You not only pay with your valuable, and irreconcilable time you lose with your children, you pay through your wallet as a result. The system, I am convinced is set up this way to make sure that the Mother’s are not left having to work for a living, tax free baby.. This way Mommy can stay home on your dime, and work part time as a casual inference.. :)
Bottom line, if Mother had obeyed, they wouldn’t be in the situation they are in now. As to the Mother’s credibility? I seriously doubt her story, especially since no evidence was presented, and no court believed her enough to sway their opinion. In essence, the Mother played the same card a lot of disgruntled Mother’s play out in the courtrooms of America each and every day!
