The Obama administration spent Christmas weekend in an internal debate over whether to tell the American people the government failed to protect airline passengers in the wake of the terror attack on Northwest Airlines flight 253, according to the Wall Street Journal.
That explains the stupifying message by Obama spokespeople on Sunday that the 'system worked'.
The statement followed three days in which the White House had delegated public responses to subordinates. Officials debated over the weekend whether to state publicly that the security system had failed, according to a senior counterterrorism official.
The dilemma was on display Monday when Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano appeared to backpedal from televised comments over the weekend in which she declared that, once the attack happened, "the system worked." Ms. Napolitano conceded Monday that the system didn't work in allowing a terrorist onboard the plane. She said her earlier comments were taken out of context.
Also on Sunday, White House Press Secretary repeated the initial administration line on CBS News' Face the Nation:
I do think, though, that, in many ways, this system has worked. We just have to continue to keep refining it and stay ahead of what terrorists are trying to do.
Yes, Mr. and Mrs. America, they really think we're that dumb. Yet, it is the best and the brightest populating the Obama administration who are dumb enough to think that they could tell the American people "the system worked" and get away with it.
This is perfectly in-line with their perpetual opposite day syndrome. Whatever they say...the opposite is the truth.
They are pathetic and they are liars.
The product of incompetence, deceit, lies, and weakness with little regard for the safety of American lives. Don’t these fools think the American public already figured out the SYSTEM FAILED????

The Obama administration cannot comprehend that the truth stands independently of their creation.
They really think they are gods.
Not only do they think we’re stupid, they don’t even care what we think about it. They take pleasure in shoving this stuff in our face. The message is you’re stupid, we do whatever we want and there’s nothing you can do about it. Just shut up peasant and and do what we tell you to do.
They confuse damage control with leadership.
It is difficult to believe just what is taking place with this administration. Obama as Saddam Hussein and Holder, etc. as Baghdad Bob.

Quit treating the public like children! We are big boys, we can handle the truth. But can we ever believe anything the Obama admin says?

Wow...what contempt for us.
You can't blame them for thinking this. They discovered they could say whatever they wanted without regards to scrutiny during the campaign so they figgered they can continue with the practice and get away with it. Just shows us they put politics and poll results above the truth and safety of the nation.
This administration has gotten to the point where absolutely nothing they say anymore is believable.
I now assume EVERYTHING is a lie and go from there.
That should be the First Rule in dealing with all Marxists.
The Second is that whatever evil thing they accuse opponents of doing is exactly what they are doing themselves.
Try it. It will reveal the political world as it really is.
