Former president Jimmy Carter is doing one terrific job. So reports the Associated Press today in its "Carter finds happiness in foreign missions." According to the article:

Since leaving the White House, he's logged millions of miles and visited dozens of countries on missions to wipe out diseases, mediate conflicts, advocate for human rights and monitor elections. He's built a legacy that few, if any, American ex-presidents can match.

Absolutely. No one since has achieved 20% interest rates.

Yep, he’s wasted so much time trying to be important sticking his nose where it wasn’t wanted causing damage; it has negated anything worthwhile he’s done.

Azzociated Pimps: `We love Jimmy!’

America: `That moralizing screwball has been a royal pain-in-the-azz for the last 29 years, since we gave him a one-way ticket back to Georgia.’

Since AP has such a lovely penchant for referring to Sarah Palin as "failed VP candidate", perhaps they could wake up from their partisan coma and refer to Jimmy Carter as "failed President", as well as his squeaky-voiced VP Mondale as "failed VP *and* failed 1984 Presidential candidate" ....

Maybe I'm just asking too much .... /lol

I don’t know about being recorded in history. He is popular with some 30 percent of the public who actually think “he cares” or is “on our side”.

Lester G. Maddox warned about him, said he was the most dishonest man he ever met, but the American people believed the late Jody Powell who said being criticized by Lester Maddox is like “being called ugly by a frog.”

Barry M. Goldwater similarly said that Richard M. Nixon was the most dishonest man he ever met but voted for him three times any way.

It has been said that Carter is “Nixon’s revenge” on the American people.
