All he has to do to make the lawsuits and all this controversy go away is to produce the REAL long form birth certificate and prove his eligibility. No more, no less. Since he won’t, one has to assume that he can’t — and would therefore prefer to spend massive amounts of money to hide “nothing”.

Let's have a look at the main players on the birther side. Here we have Berg who claims Obama never "re-naturalized" after becoming an Indonesian citizen. Additionally, Donofrio, Kreep and Taitz maintain he's ineligible due to his father's Kenyan citizenship (though Taitz has hedged her bets by submitting as evidence a pair of laughably bogus "Kenyan" birth certificates).
Obama could whip out a gold-plated long form BC signed by God himself and it isn't going to make the issue go away.
