No one would willingly go to Detriot

someone else suggested Detroit is picked because until it begins descent the plane is still in Canadian air space and the object is to create fear here.
makes sense
However Janet napolitano has told us there is NO larger plot, just that lone Nigerian on Christmas day

Oh wait

a Nigerian man had locked himself in the bathroom;

I'm sure everyone knows that one cannot "lock" themselves in an airplane rest room.

If you haven't seen the flight attendants prepare the planes for takeoff and landing, there is an outside latch that locks/unlocks the doors. The small metallic sign that says "Lavatory" on the door is hinged at the top. If you flip up that sign, you can slide the same latch that you do on the inside to lock/unlock the door.

If you ever need to get access to the inside in a hurry, that's how to do it.

Police Surround Plane at Detroit Airport After Reports of Suspicious Activity

DEVELOPING: Several police vehicles and a police command unit have surrounded a plane at Detroit’s Metro Airport.

The Associated Press reported that an incident on a Detroit airliner has lead to the arrest of Nigerian man, who is now in custody.

Metro Airport spokesman John Witner said there was a report of suspicious activity on the Delta/Northwest flight 253 from Amsterdam Sunday. That is the same flight number as the flight that a Nigerian man was suspected of attempting to blow up over Detroit on Christmas Day.

Five large buses have pulled up to the scene, indicating there may be passengers on board.

WJBK Detroit is reporting that a Nigerian man has locked himself in the bathroom of the plane.

Once is happenstance, twice a coincidence, thrice is enemy action.

Let’s just say I would assume I could out-think the security. I will leave it at that.

I know there are those who will be tempted to say the president should somehow have anticipated there could be problems related to international flights from Amsterdam to Detroit. Let’s try not to be too judgmental there. After all, he is pretty busy playing golf in Hawaii. Somebody has to be ready to replace Tiger Woods because Nike is, let’s face it, too big to fail.
