I think this pushs his #s lower honestly. Reminds everyone that they were safe under bush and since obama there have been at least 2 attacks.
The responsibility for this lies squarely the airline, just as it did when Richard Reed he boarded that American Airlines jet in Paris back in 2001.
Big difference here. Richard Reed’s Father did not go to a US Embassy to warn about his Muslim Extremist Son.
Obama owns this Muslim!!!!
How did he get seat 19A ,the one most perfectly positioned
“to cause the most damage to the plane if he had been able
to trigger the detonator?
That can not be a coincidence.”
This story and the governments reaction to it stinks! They Want an incident! IMO
No answer to that will be forthcoming, no matter who asks, until it is ordered by Obama and Napolitano.
...which means it is damned unlikely!
Obviously there were two screw-ups here.
1. The US apparently does not combine the “Terrorist Watch List” and the “No Fly List.”
2. The NWA staff at Schiphol let this guy on the plane despite his lack of credentials.
Both of those issues must be fixed and we have to find out who at Schiphol gave final approval for him to board and who in the federal government decided not to combine the “Terrorist Watch List” and the “No Fly List.”
This adminstration is one huge EPIC FAIL.

Here’s the story breaking on the second guy that was arrested...Looks like another Nigerian...
In that country the well dressed man probably had a lot of juice (if it occurred) and the people at the counter and boarding area gave him what he wanted in exchange for either not getting killed or family killed or for $$$$$$. Nothing unusual about that in countries like Nigeria & Sudan. He was already through customs so it probably wasn’t checked in the Netherlands when he boarded that plane. My understanding it that when you change planes in a foreign country you never go through customs in that country so probably never show your passport. You’re inside a secure area.
You are probably right. In which case, we need to see that this story gets as much exposure as possible. And then we need to raise the question, why did security let this guy on board the plain without a passport? If they deny that story, then we need to ask, OK, let’s see the passport.
It’s all very well to blame the Dutch or the airline, but considering all the trouble security causes anyone who flies, it’s their responsibility to protect our country and its citizens from terrorists—especially from known terrorists.
Confiscate grandma’s toothpaste but let a known terrorist on board without a passport? And if they deny it, then where’s the passport?
“It sounds as if he got on last minute, with no passport......”
Yeah, but who’s to say when or by whom the ticket was purchased??
Isn’t it difficult to buy a ticket that’s not in your name?
Amsterdam officials said the U.S. cleared the passenger list
oral....never send an African to do an Arab’s job
He Murtha’d out
IF it is true wonder when FoxNews will report this?
This is the way that Delta/Northwest airlines functions?! And they want access to US markets?! This is criminal behavior and heads must roll.
Don’t know. My wife has bought every ticket for me in the past several years. In fact she’s bought them for the whole family. Thing is She kept her maiden name. The kids and my last name is different.
The last ticket for me was purchased with miles. It was never used by me. We called and inquired about switching the name on that ticket to send her mother out of town. Was told that would be no problem as long as we paid a fee for the change.
I’m willing to bet all this can easily be circumvented if you got a buddy that works as a travel agent.
Schipol should have a videocam footage of this. I’m sure we’ll hear more...maybe not in the U.S. press, though.
