Napolitano: "The system worked"
DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said that the thwarting of the attempt to blow up the Amsterdam-Detroit flight this week demonstrated that "the system worked."
Asked by CNN's Candy Crowley on "State of the Union" how that could be possible when the young Nigerian who sought to set off the bomb was able to smuggle explosive liquid onto the flight, Napolitano responded: "We're asking the same questions."
Napolitano added that there was "no suggestion that [the bomber] was improperly screened."

This gives a whole new meaning to “going Dutch”.
He paid cash which is like a major red flag.
Anything larger? How about they hate us and want to kill us all! I guess that’s not large enough for Janet. How large does she want cuz I’m sure they’re going to take advantage of her naivete.

Jssper Schuringa could have been killed along with the rest of the plane. Maybe the Dutch guy can sue for his injuries. It’s okay by me.

Per Fox News: The U.S. gave Nigeria 2 of the expensive body scanners. How’s that working out for them? I bet they’re stuck in a warehouse somewhere in Nigeria cuz they aren’t using them. The U.S. also gave Yemen major money to fight terror. How’s that working out for us?
Good tagline. I don’t know how long you’ll be able to keep it though. I read that they’re planning on modifying the system. They want to confine The Dutchman and all other potential heroes to their seats during the final hour of flight. That should effectively prevent this type of incident in the future. We can’t have Flying Dutchmen interfering with the business of terrorists.

The only system that worked was Napolitano’s hair color bearing resemblance to her last name and a face that would confuse her for Dick Durbin.
