He's very athletic and demands that you play water polo with him all day long.
He has a plastic ball we stole form the cat,now 2 balls, and he rolls them around in his cage until he can toss them into the bird spa/wading pool.
Once he has both balls in the spa he will squak to high heavens(it's a DBM type of squeal) until you pull them out and throw them back on the floor of his cage.
Then he repeats the game until its time to put the blanket over his cage.
IT kind of reminds me of the obma govt. methods. Dig hole, fill in, dig hole, fill in,call for more unions.

I’m not too surprised and sad but true he could be more the norm than not. Unquestionably we live in a different world here.
One of the best advocates for our side have been the Cheney family-- Liz and Dick. They set the drivebys straight on most every issue that they try and blame on Bush.

I have seen cats spend more than 24 hours in a tree after a close call with a dog.

Cats know how to climb in and out of trees. It is in their DNA. I can think of no cat that cannot get out of a tree so long as that tree touches or sprouts from the ground somewhere. Cats have claws for not only taking prey, but to climb.
If it’s not coming out it is still likely too scared, and that will yet pass, or it likes its perch and isn’t ready to tempt fate again just yet.

ANOTHER Nigerian.
Barricaded himself in the bathroom.
Crew declared an in-flight emergency and kicked in bathroom door.
Passenger put up a fight and was subdued.
NO BAGGAGE.

I see our system (passengers and crew on their own) is apparently working. One would think that if we can handle terrorism ourselves, we could handle health care without the government’s help as well.

When I left Dublin, Ireland two weeks ago, we had to go through bag check in, then gate security, and then through a special US Customs screening. These were AMERICAN Customs Agents permanently stationed in Ireland. No one could even get to the gates hosting US bound flights without going through them. Everyone had to have a US passport or if a non-US passport, also had to fill in a green customs card with A LOT of questions and then go through the a customs agent’s questions individually. Mine asked me what I was doing in Ireland, where did I stay, how long I was there, where I was going to, etc. Very courteous and friendly, but all business underneath.
Frankly, there must be a problem in Amsterdam. The AL Q types know which weakness to exploit, IMHO.

Bill Burton says Obama was notified around 9AM Hawaiian time and is setting up another teleconference regarding the “unruly passenger.”
I should say my husband will be coming back from Africa mid-January. I have to say I am a bit nervous.
