The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, released Thursday, shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16 (see trends).

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook. Rasmussen Reports will not conduct telephone surveys again until Sunday. The current numbers reflect the final update until Monday. However, the Rasmussen Reports web site will be updated every day. Check out the home page for the latest.
Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. The Presidents overall approval has stayed between 44% and 46% every day for thirteen days. Prior to that, it had stayed between 46% and 50% every day for more than two months. Fifty-six percent (56%) now disapprove of the Presidents performance.

I thought it was 16%. And 98% approve. Is it 12%?
Obama is performing a role as President Pelosi and Reid write the script.
>and 44% approval.
40% of the country either gets government checks, or works for the government.
They will lie any lie.
What gives?
Don't worry, it's just the typical statistical "noise" you see in polling. Don't worry, the trend in our friend. A month ago, the noise was -12, -10, -8, -13, 10; now it is -16, -19, -17, -15, -17; the average is going down, down, down.
I was just discussing this a couple days ago with someone and we looked up the “official” US number from 2008 and it was something like 12.9%. But how people of mixed race identify themselves these days is hard to judge. Could be higher as you estimate.
Total incompetence, epic fail.
Agreed. I think over the next four weeks, his overall disapproval will break into the high fifties and may even go to sixty or higher around his first (ugh!) state of the union address.
Seems he has stabilized. The Ones index has held between -15 and -21 for a few weeks now and his overall approval has held between 44% and 47%......It’s going to take another monstocity to drop him in the -25 index / 35% approval territory.
Out of sight, out of mind. It's possible that he could be at -10 when he returns to DC. Then he and Michelle will be back to remind us what an epic fail he is.
thanks
Just kick him out. We will repair our country.
Anyway it is about 7 out of 10 non black disapprove. I think more will disapprove when a lot of the Obamoochers do not get any freebies they were voting for. Looks bad for the Crats in the election.
I will be faxing this info to my senators and representative, along with the President. They need to know that we do not like what they are doing and are not going to forget come November 2010.
Be in D.C. for the State of the Union Address - massive protest!
Patriot that I am, I am never going to be comfortable calling the President of my country “The Big Wee-Wee.”
I think I may be little too conservative for this particular thread.
RE: “Wasnt he -19 a day or so ago?
What gives?”
******************
Maybe leaving the mainland gives him a bump up??? I know that aside from being scandalized by the number of expensive trips he takes, I’m always pleased when he is OUT of D.C.!
When growing up, I was taught that, "If you can't say something nice about somebody, don't say anything at all." Frankly, "Big Wee Wee" is about the nicest think I can say about the clunk. And Obama-lama-ding-dong is not legally the president of my country until he produces a valid birth certificate.
When people see the impact Obamacare, Cap and Trade upcoming and AMNESTY, the - for Obama will be near 14% that is for sure. Even leftist dunces will wonder if this guy is competent enough to stay in the WH for 2+ more years.
Yeah, but I thought that a long time ago when his ratings first went under 45%. Let’s hope.
