While it may not constitute proof in the rigidly scientific sense of the term, it certainly suggests that there IS a correlation - i.e., firearms in the hands of MORE of the law-abiding leads to LESS activity on the part of criminals.

I heartily disagree. More guns = less crime. A society’s best friend, including law enforcement, are armed, honest citizens.

A ten percent drop in murders during the first six months of this year at a time when gun sales were up dramatically is more proof that there is no correlation between gun ownership and violent crimeWell, at least not a positive correlation, anyway.
