Detroit has a large Muslim/Arab community. While they aren’t saying, isn’t it possible that the perpetrator is a member of that community? Amsterdam also has a large Muslim/Arab community.

How does a person not only get fireworks onboard on their person (presumably), but also the means to ignite them? (I guess it could have been a party popper or the like.)
