From its economic policies to Afghanistan to the health care debacle in the Senate, the administration is determined to be the opposite of what many of us believed we were voting for.

I thought when I voted for Barack Obama that he would be a president who would be willing to get his hands dirty and that we would always know where he stood.

He used to speak like someone who had a vision for the country. Now he hedges and parses his words like a lawyer for an insurance firm.

What happened to the man who showed up on the campaign trail with specific promises about how he'd represent the interests of the American people after eight years of incompetence, stupidity and war?

What happened to all those promises of transparency?

Where did the skepticism about Bush-era war policies go?

Each day brings new headlines about the Obama administration siding with its predecessor on civil liberties or our right to know embarrassing things that were done in our name.

As a Democrat associate of mine put it....we now have Bush version 2.0...which is a weaker and watered down version of Bush version 1.0. The speeches don’t work anymore...the future vision is out of focus...and the promises are mostly all fictional in nature. I think the 2010 election period will be a heavy dose of reality where lots of people start to think “Carter-80”.

Not if ACORN, which recently was found ethically OK by the Dems, has anything to say about it. They will create votes wherever needed. Like for Franken. The Dems know they can cheat their way to keeping the majority after ACORN registers all the illegals and the Dems at the polling places allow them to vote twice.

Unfortunately, these people just don't get it. Yeah, Obama is continuing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and leaving Gitmo open for now. But that is where the similarities end.

They whine and cry about continuing with CERTAIN Bush policies, but REFUSE to see the BIG PICTURE, that he is taking this nation 180 degrees from where its ever been. He's NOT taking us BACK to a better time, a golden era. He is DESTROYING everything this nation EVER stood for. And these people are his enablers. They are guilty.

Obama said during his campaign what he intended to do to this country, all people had to do was listen. Instead they chose selective hearing, and to envision this guy to be what they thought they wanted.
