If Hutchison wins, I'm moving to Oklahoma!

...No, not really.

I can’t believe how appalling her behavior has been. Leaving the senate, and you party to defend the seat, to challenge the GOP governor of your own state, opening up both seats to possible Dem challengers? Unforgivable.

That's an extreme, really scary overreaction! Oklahoma?

Glad you're kidding.

I don’t trust Perry as far as I could throw him. Trouble is, I trust Hutchinson even LESS. Of the two, Perry is the better candidate — that ain’t saying much. I know nothing about Medina, but since I don’t live in Texas, that’s not a surprise. Anyone know anything about her?

Perry likes Palin and fully supports her. KBH says she “doesn’t know anything about her.” That pretty much sums it up for me.

She's a vanity candidate from the Ron Paul school. FWIW, she draws about 7% in the Republican polls. Medina is very hot in libertarian circles, totally unknown everywhere else. She's never held elected office.

Statewide, I don't think any Democrat polls at more than 25%, and indications are that every state and national Dem candidate will lose by double digits to any Republican. Both Perry and Hutchison would easily beat any Democratic candidate at this point.

We have too many bleu state refugees here now, hun. They are stupid sheeple who will automatically vote for Corruptocrats and not making the cosmic connection between the economic and social hell holes they just left and their support of the Corruptocrats.

We need to run them all off back to their bleu state hell holes before November.

I think you are right. I was just being a smarta**. Being a Texan, it comes naturally when Oklahoma is the point of conversation. Sorry.

I think Hutchison is an establishment pushed candidate, they are scared of Perry actually going through with his “threats to secession” or his support of a 10th Amendment resolution/legislation.

Debra Media might be the most conservative, but in a three way race..can she win? I have my doubts.

Everybody that cares needs to call PBS (KERA) in dallas and demand Debra Medina be included in the debate!

Otherwise, we WILL GET a RINO! (KBH or Perry).

You’ve got to be kidding on a Palin/Perry slate. Rick does whatever is politically expedient. Texas is hanging onto Republican status by a slim thread. They tried to pass the vote ID bill this last year and it went down to Texas procedural politics. San Antonio, Austin and Houston are Dimwit strongholds. Remember who Houston just elected for Mayor. Not much of a choice though. Glad I live in the burbs. IMO at this point, Medina would just siphon away votes - she needs to stick around, get to work and run again next time. Lots of illegals, gays and out-of-staters who bring their liberal garbage with them changing the political climate - and not for the better. Oklahoma is a whole lot more conservative than any of the big cities in Texas.

No...I was not kidding and all that you list in your semi-tirade, cannot be pinned on Gov Perry. He has cut taxes, he has made efforts to secure the border and is a 10th amendment advocate. He’s a former military man as well.

You cannot blame the presence of all the fruitcakes on Rick Perry. You should study the history of the enviro whackos in the state plus all the libs that have infiltrated places such as Austin & now Houston. Liberalism is a cancer and no state, even OK is not immuned. Montana was a strong Repub state just 10 years ago and now...

You know, one person cannot accomplish everything if the elected body consists of whackos.

Well, you know the only reason Texas doesn’t slide on into the Gulf is because Oklahoma sucks.

Couldn’t resist that one. ;-p

OK was the only ALL red state in 2008, so I’ll give ‘em a break. Besides, Okies are better’n yankees any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
