As far as the media is concerned, Martha Coakley won the election a few weeks ago.

This upcoming "election" is a mere formality -- so why cover it?

The system is rotten to the core, people.

Have you got that right! First debate is on the radio, the second one streamed on the the TV station’s website only—to be broadcast on regular TV at 7 AM on Sunday!

This is a hugely Democratic state, but they’ve elected Pubbie govs quite frequently, have had some fairly close Senate votes in the past, and their current Dem gov is very unpopular.

Any coverage that the national pundits even could give could be useful in this tea-party era.
