I TOTALLY agree with your argument and logic on this. Unfortunately the Republican presidential candidate took the issue off the table and the media, even on the conservative side, were too afraid of being tagged as racist to do any independent investigation and to insist that Obama provide the suppressed documents.

I have read stuff by this flamer before. She is an idiot. Your next ACLU lawyer. She doesn’t know what she is talking about. Statutes can’t change the constitution. She proves she is wrong in her own article. Quoting the statute, it doesn’t say “natural born citizen”. It said “a person shall be a national and citizen of the United States...”
Now I see the word “national” not “natural”. I do NOT see the phrase “natural born citizen”. So how does this apply at all?

Obama probably is a Muslim born in Kenya with bad marks on his college transcripts and different nationalities listed on different documents — he is truly a citizen of the world and a mixed bag of identities. This is the certain thing about his uncertainty. The chronic disregard for the truth indicates a flux in thinking that comes with having no base or foundation — except for his adherence to radicalism — to build from. His life is a fabrication ever malleable and changing. It’s the never ending story and it works because superficial charm is more important to our celebrity based culture than strength of character or experience. Charm is what gets things done and the story always gets more charming. Charm and a tissue of lies will get more done than anything else in our image conscious times. Surface is everything.
Geez the same poster who was posting an article last night blaming President Bush for everything and making ignorant claims attacking our National Security is now posting a ignorant diatribe by an incompetent lawyer in support of Obama.
This is what is confusing around here....at least, to me.
A poster posts an article or op-ed about something that most of us disagree with and are going to dispute (attack the messenger). We usually assume that the poster agrees with the article or piec that they posted. Such is not always the case. In fact, many times it is NOT the case. Still, we attack the messenger who posts it vs. the person that wrote it.
I’ve wondered it it wouldn’t be a good idea for you to post a little blurb before the article stating YOUR stance on the article. That might eliminate a lot of confusion and a lot of wasted time by freepers attacking you, thinking you’re a troll, instead of the writer. Does that make sense?

Addressing the cost issue is crunch time. Right now we’re creating the wish list. Next we must figure out how to implement the wish list, or shorten the wish list, or bring vengeance to the politicians who foisted this wish list on us.
Interesting times are ahead. Americans won’t tolerate much in the way of tax increases. Something’s going to give. Surprises are ahead. I’m optimistic.
