"It is ironic," he began, "that the Court bases today's decision on the right of the people `to choose whom they please to govern them'" when its ruling indicated that neither the people of Arkansas nor their legislature had a right to make such a choice.
"Nothing in theConstitution," Justice Thomas wrote, deprives the people of eachState of the power to prescribe eligibility requirements for candidates whoseek to represent them in Congress. The Constitution is simply silent on this question. And where the Constitution is silent, it raises no bar to action by the States or the people.
Here’s the 1995 case which on a 5/4 decision screwed up our country. Yes folks, all it took was one single justice!

I hope Justus Thomas sticks around as I fear we will need his vote soon on some pretty important issues.
They’ll prop up Byrd like Weekend at Bernie’s.
The Permanent Government. It is extremely difficult ever to remove these democrat cockroaches like the despicable Byrd from office.
Oh wait, Congress is exempt from Obummer's DeathCaretm
Okay, lets keep the pressure on - especially Nelson. The governor and people of Nebraska are really giving it to him. Lets add fuel to the fire! Let him know we are not only sick of the corruption of which he is chief benefactor, but we will also be cheering for the Cornhuskers to lose big to the Arizona Wildcats in their upcoming bowl game!

I am waiting for this caretaker of the constitution, as he plays himself up as, to voice his objections to this bill as in violation of our cherished, now violated document.
Oh wait, there’s a phony cover on the book he pulls out of his inner coat pocket, it was really Das Kapital all along.
The fires of hell await you senator byrd, cast your lot with the other 59 ddemons and seal your fate.
Of all the reasoned arguments about term limits, in the end it was just about power and preserving the status quo. The supremes are a sham.
if we’re going to defeat obama’s socialism, we’re going to have to be tougher than this old guy
Let’s challenge his competency, we definitely have grounds for concern.
Reminds me of “Weekend at Bernie’s”
