I don’t believe the outcomes in 2006 and 2008 were based solely on the Iraq war. And I’m sorry, but anyone who trusted the left on military matters more than the right was an absolute clueless fool.

Democrats won solely because republicans screwed up so badly. Sure, here and talk radio the theme was “But Democrats are SO bad Republicans must ALWAYS win no matter what.” But that is a case for ending Democracy and not a winner, in fact a disaster for two elections.
