They may as well have left after the 1 AM vote, or after Nelson was bought off. They can spew platitudes for the screwed-over voters from their home states.

Make them vote after the Christmas Holiday. NO WAY in Hell should they be forced to vote on unfinished business.
This makes me sick, I was planning to be in DC on Christmas Eve...just to sit in the gallery.
I've worked many a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...your flippin’ FREEDOM IS AT STAKE...! Sure you can cease fire for the holiday...just don't F***in’ surrender!

No suprise here. If the RATS are anything they are strong, focused and dedicated to their cause.
The GOP is so used to being on the losing side in these things that their natural tendency is to let the dems wear them down and then they give up and make nice.

We don’t need the GOP, we’ll handle the revolution.

A protest blocking the doors by We the People with pink slips and signs saying

You’re right on - can’t have the scum of the earth be inconvenienced, after all, it’s all about them.
The GOP should NEVER give them an inch. Weakness is repulsive.

And the drunk germans didn’t know what hit them. They can’t hide history, and they can’t hide Americans. Just bring it on. We’re ready.
To: Rebel Wolf
Exactly Wolf . It’s a hangover from new tone other cheek drive . Instead of stiff arming or public ridicule they have opted for the more comfortable bitch seat .

However, Democrats as well as Republicans expressed concern about missing ChristmasI understand completely. We wouldn't want them inconvenienced because of little old us. Their holiday break is much more important than our lives, our parents lives, the unborns life, and the future of American as we know it.
Thank goodness we have Republicans in Washington to look out for us with such vigor!
To: mdittmar
I really can't see where a few hours makes a difference when the bill is going to pass.
Freepers are getting upset at the GOP here over nothing.
To: Sunbunny
We’re done with the ‘rules’, the dems don’t realize what’s brewing out in the ‘real world’. F them all. Americans will rule the day Obama was selected.
