One would think an entire think-tank university staff is behind Snopes.
Not so. It's a couple husband and wife.
Their opinions are considered bible by countless who check out "the facts" by going to Snopes.com. These countless include college profs, Congresspersons, the National Review writers, and masses climbing all over the grassroots.

"B: I contacted Tedd Petruna, and he recently called me back and confirmed the story. I believe him 100%. And FYI, Snopes needs to be de-Snoped. Snopes is completely unreliable, very left-wing, lies about things, tells the opposite of the truth in a number of cases, and gets a lot of things wrong. Why would you rely on some left-wing couple from California to decide the truth for you?"Debbie Schlussel

I have always wondered about Snopes. Husband and wife, David and Barbara Mikkelson. Gotta remember that.

Like Wiki and others Snopes is a good place to first check out something. I would appreciate seeing two examples of “lies” on Snopes.

(In 2012 Sarah Palin will continue to have more relevant quality executive experience than B. Obama.)

Truth or Fiction does not have the Liberal bias of Snopes or Fact Check. Maybe it has bias of its own, but it defends Snopes, I think incorrectly.

Snopes is generally ok for verifying email rumors. Anything political and you are better off asking the neighbor.
