It is useful to recall that Reagan was opposed by the gop establishment, the 'rats, and the media. He won anyway. Clearly, the beltway republicans will oppose her--after all, she does not play fair--she's honest! And it scares the sh*t out of them no less than it does the 'rats and the media.
They look at how she fought and won over the gop establishment in Alaska, an entrenched cabal of corrupt political criminals and big oil executives. If she can beat Exxon she can beat whatever stiff the beltway rinos want to throw up against her.
After that, it just depends on whether the RNC supports her. If the Republican Party wants to win the presidencey, it can. If it would rather wallow than win, it won't. We shall see.
