Wouldn’t count on SCOTUS. Remember how they gave a pass to McCain-Feingold? Unless the house can grow some balls, it will come to revolution.

Question - I have been hearing commentators state that the House can simply pass the Senate Health Care bill without the bill going to a conference committee. If they thought they had the votes, they could do it that way if they wished. This Bill *technically* did originate in the House. The original language has been completely replaced, but the bill is HR 3590

I suspect their will be a conference committee.

That bill will pass the Senate, go to the House, back and in warp speed with no changes in the House, back to the Senate to be placed on King Obama desk and he will sign. Then the communists will amend the bill to include all the things left out once enacted.

They don’t give a darn about The Constitution or anything else. They are power mad out of control socialists. They don’t care that O is probably not even eligible to be POTUS. The tree is rotten from the top down and bottom up now, they’ll do as they please, with no thought as to what The People want.

“the Constitution requires all revenue bills to originate in the House” From political speak is this a revenue bill?

It raises and creates taxes, it's a revenue bill. However it also originated in the House. The Senate can amend House revenue bills just like any others. Don't know it they can add revenu provisions to non revenue House bills though.

You are totally correct. That’s exactly why I mourned our country starting Nov.4th 2008. I had no idea that day, how fast the demise of America would be. Washington is doing as they please, The Constitution and The People are of no concern to them. Power and Control and Money are all they lust for.

Rush was saying today that the email, snail mail, phone calls, protests, etc...have no effect on the scum in Washington. He is right. These power mad fascists despise the American People.

We were a 3rd world banana republic the second that Obama was illegally sworn in.

And just who will you hire to fight that battle? How long will it take? And would the SCOTUS even bother to hear it?

Much as we may wish for the Congress to behave in a Constitutional manner, we should not kid ourselves about the reality.
