I’m getting really tired of these columnists and pundits lying about it not passing. They’ve been wrong at every step of this nightmarish process.

If we listened to them, it wasn’t even supposed to get this far; yet, here we are, on the verge of passing this crap.

It’s going to pass and the sooner we accept that reality, the sooner we can plan our next step in how we the people will refuse to participate in this.

If they pass it, we won’t cooperate with the taxation, fees and mandates. Screw them!

The ‘journalists’ have always been lying. It was done to create drama. With 60 Dem Senators the Bill was always a done deal. Zero will cripple our country to the point the masses will be begging the Government to help. That’s been his plan, and the ‘journalist’s’ wish, since day one.

I agree, but he actually does offer some interesting possibilities, particularly from the point of view of getting House approval. However, he's realistic:

But make no mistake: The momentum for the bill that Reid had to fake a week or so ago is now real, at least within Congress. Early next year, the question may shift from whether Democrats can pass the bill, to whether Republican can make the sort of gains in 2010 and 2012 necessary to repeal it.

I have to agree with you there. We’ve been hearing the “reasons” this won’t pass yet it keeps clearing hurdles. I believe the next step is to try and stop this thing in the courts. There has to be judge out there who honors the Constitution ... I know, I know! Wishful thinking! Just like the wishful thinking with campaign finance reform!

There must be a way to stop this evil! Now it seems only God Himself can stop this wickedness.

Maybe so but I think that everyone "just accepting" it is playing into their hands.<.p>

Instead of accepting it as inevitable, we need to start putting out the word that it's not over, it can be stopped.

It's really more like a barnburner basketball game. There's always something that can happen to change the game.

Byrd could die. Reed could die. Hey, bunch of the others aren't spring chickens anymore, and as Teddy Kennedy just taught everybody, anyone can die. You also have the possibility that locking these old geezers up in the Capitol building in a snowstorm for a few days has infected them all with Swine Flu ~

We could have a natural disaster of Biblical proportions too.

Look, I can imagine all sorts of things happening ~ but most of them would just slow this down and not really stop it.

The 2010 election will stop it from happening.
