kind of immature for a doctor>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Nah! I have two doctors in the family. She sounds just like them. The problem is that they just don;\’t get much practise at communicating this sort of thing. They are awkward when not “making nice.” Many of them are conservatives.

RE: “kind of immature for a doctor”

*********************

Not really — I used to work for a large national health insurer and we often heard stories of the immature way some doctors came across — in situations concerning their patients and certainly when dealing with insurers re their contracts.

I’ve liked almost all the doctors I’ve seen over time, but there definitely are a few who could use some tips on dealing with people. I’m no one to talk though, as I always call it as I see it.

I just wanted to mention that doctors often act in an immature manner.

In what way? The government is robbing her blind, and she's responding. If that's "immature", then we need a lot more immature activity.

I don’t know about that. She’s immature compared to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi?

probably written in anger without thought of the critics on FRee Republic. I've written some pretty immature things as well.

I would advise all the doctors to just "do what the law mandates". Not one bit more.

As an ER physician, I can treat heart attacks within 10 minutes with a goal of cath lab and stent within an hour... but all the med refills, chronic back pains, ear aches , coughs, belly pains, sprained ankles... well I can see the 2.3 to 2.8 patients per hour that the government says that I should see or I can bust my hump and try and see the 6 or 7 patients that get dumped into the hopper at a time by multi tasking and using every bit of the hospitals resources and physician extenders....

My only hope is that the family and friends of these parasite democrats need a doc and get the "same treatment" as the rest of the farm animals. That way Fat Ted Kennedy wouldn't get a chopper ride to Mass General for a seizure. We wouldn't "waste" our resources on a fat, drunk, drug addicted alcoholic... just give him some morphine and shove his fat a@@ out the door.

Every physician should just "take our time". Make appointments that won't inconvenience our families and tell the patients that are screaming to "take it up with your congressman". The best though, is to save it up for our beloved leaders... those bastions of representative democracy, we should just see them only on an emergent basis.

As it is in our area you can not get a broken jaw "seen" in the ER... it is given pain meds, antibiotics and referred out as an outpatient unless other co-morbid conditions require admission. The maxofacial surgeons just quit covering the ER. Same with hand surgeons. Anybody want to venture why. Highest liabilities and lowest payments. ...That is going to be really good with the new government health care insurance.

This clown and his democrat punks are going to kill this country.

I don't think so.

How would you feel if congress did to you what they're doing to doctors? One I know is furious...said a lot of them are going to be retiring early.

I hope you maintain your maturity when you spend hours in the waiting room.

And a "mature" doctor would register his/her disapproval how?

My job as a medical trainer takes me to many private physician practices. Often there are many employed staff within the offices. If doctors are forced to severly cut back or if they close their practices guess who suffers too or flat out lose their jobs?

Immature? Giving a pig politician what for after being sold down the river doesn’t sound immature to me. She’s exercising her right to free speech.

Way to go, Dr Becky! Give ‘em what for!
