That's efficiency in gov't - perhaps this one amendment bought 11 votes, not just one!

If so, there's gonna be 10 grouchy Senators when the freebies get passed out.

Hey, I've got an interesting technical question to ask Mr. Reid: how is it possible to amend a bill you've never seen? And while we're at it, how can you vote for a bill you've never seen?

The whole corrupt process used to ram this bill through is sickening. If this travesty is allowed to stand, then former Senator Jefferson (D-LA) deserves a pardon and apology.

Find the crookedest state with the most corruption and biggest payoffs.

I’m guessing Mexico. Our newest state it seems.

A state could have a hundred medical schools, but it’s got to have medical, dental and research

I’m smelling Gov. Bill Richardson in NM or the late great Martin Luther Ki”ll”ing Hospital in Cali. Hmmm. We shall see.

>>”Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.”

They were my first thought, too. But I think more likely, UMDNJ in New Jersey, an institution (and state) known for corruption.

The LSU system is comprised of 11 separate institutions that have their own administrations and budgets. LSU Shreveport and LSU Baton Rouge and LSU New Orleans share the LSU designation, but nothing else.
