Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I) today took shots at those who are not supporting the health care legislation. During a floor speech, he excoriated Senate GOP members for for holding the pending health care bill and accused their supporters of being birthers and fanatics in right-wing militia and Aryan support groups.

From what I have been reading ‘Aryan’ originally (at the time of the Indo-Europeans) simply meant a way of life, and a ritual/religious set of beliefs/myths.
I.e., horse-riding, warrior cult, the ‘band of brothers’ initiation for young men, etc.
It included anyone who adopted the culture. Included Greeks, Indo-Aryans (certainly not Waspish), Bulgarians, Poles, eventually Scots and the Germanic tribes.
It was a kind of franchise operation. Nothing to do with skin color in the least.
Really, Senator Whitehouse?! Really?! I’m not a Birther (although I would like to see a real copy of Obama’s birth certificate which he had sealed legally in hawaii in the summer of 2008). I’m not a member of the Aryan Bortherhood or the Skinheads or the KKK or any of the other pathetic excuses for humanity that hat...e based on skin pigmentation. I WILL admit that I am, according to Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Patrick Henry, technically a member of the “militia.” What Whitehouse is doing by engaging in the demonization of political opponents to the Obamacare agenda is setting the stage to “regulate,” “control,” and finally censor these “dangerous” people and their nefarious beliefs and convictions — you know, like religion, God, Paryer, guns, free speech, personal property rights, etc. I wonder if they are planning on forcing us to wear yellow crosses or stars of David on our clothing? Maybe the camps will be air conditioned... Hopefully the boxcars will have comfortable...

The drums have already begun beating for the march of TRUTH, you think that you are fighting the enemy...ahh Mr. Whitehouse we will see...and by the way why is it never mentioned that Mr. Obama is a mulatto...and with his background he is more white than we or you will ever know. Give me liberty or give me death, are YOU that brave Mr. Whitehouse?
If you think that "birthers" are kooks or racists, convince your pal Obama to produce evidence that he is constitutionally qualified to be POTUS as a "natural born citizen." If you can't do that, then just step down because you are obviously incapable of abiding by your oath to support the Constitution. The same applies to the majority of your Senate colleagues. You are enemies of the American republic.
And while you are at it, Whitehouse, you can take your unconstitutional health care "reform" bill and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. BTW, Whitehouse, you and your pals are committing political suicide by voting for it.
