She was Eminem’s girlfriend in 8 Mile. She came to visit him at the factory where he worked and they had sex in full daylight on the rebars or something.
Very sad. Her awkward pose in the top photo appears to be an attempt to conceal the fact that she had attained the weight and therefore shape of an adolescent boy. Had she not arched her back, it would have been more apparent that she was was straight or vertical on all sides, without bust or hips, and that her head would appear disproportionately large compared with her body. I don’t know the cause of her death but hints of drug use, ‘difficult behavior’ and anorexia hint at a painful, difficult life. I feel sorry for anyone in that situation and now her family must face Christmas without her.
Sad news. A great friend of the troops and quite a talent. :-(

I liked her in her roles. From the first time I saw her in Clueless. Unfortunately I can’t say I’m shocked. Her choices weren’t unknown and even if they had been just a photo could show the damage she had caused herself. We’re of the same age. It’s just sad.
She was an end-stage crack addict whose heart gave out.

Our B list film actress who happens to be married to a real winner was on a recent modeling shoot. Our actress loves crack and had arranged to meet a friend of a friend while she was in this city not her own who was going to supply her with everything she needed. He did show up, and she bought enough rocks to get her through the day. Unfortunately she didn't have a crack pipe because she didn't want to carry it on the plane. Her dealer didn't have one either. To say she was upset was an understatement. She sent her dealer and her assistant out to get one. They came back a short while later with one they had got from a homeless person for $100. Our actress didn't even bother to say thanks. Just spent the next hour in kind of a haze, the photo shoot be damned.

Brittany Murphy has hit back at rumors she was fired from her new movie, currently filming in Puerto Rico, and replaced by Twilight’s Rachel Lefevre.
Reports out of Puerto Rico suggested that Clueless star Brittany, 32, was thrown off the film set for being difficult, while there was talk that her British husband, Simon Monjack — who was reportedly hospitalized on Saturday — fought with locals.
However, her rep says these stories are not true.
“The allegations currently circulating on the internet about Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack read like a fictional plot from one of the 50 plus movies Ms. Murphy has successfully completed without incident,” says the rep.
“She was not nor has she ever been fired from any job big or small. Mr. Monjack did not engage in any alleged scuffles. Though do to creative differences Ms. Murphy and the production mutually parted ways.
“As far as wanting to allegedly “sabotage this project”, to the contrary Ms. Murphy wished this production nothing but the best. Puerto Rico gave Ms. Murphy a brief insight into its wonderful culture and warm people. Ms. Murphy would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their continued support.”
How sad. May she rest in peace. She was a talented young woman.
I would guess heart attack induced by dangerously underweight/drugs.
