Actually, I being taxed by representatives who aren’t representing me but themselves and whomever threatens them the most or waves the most $$$$ in their faces.
There’s nothing in the Constitution that says they have to represent you. They just have to face the ballot box. And anyway, under the Constitution, Senators are supposed to represent their state, not the people directly.
