As the Copenhagen Climate conference comes to a conclusion amidst riots by demonstrators and scrambling by policymakers, Czech President Vaclav Klaus has a message for the world: Global warming is a "new religion," not a science.

I’ve always thought global warming meets the criteria for a religion.
Think about it. A set of believes based entirely on faith, with no hard evidence to back it up.
A “prophet” if you will (Al Gore). A clergy (the phony scientists).
A huge proselytizing effort to gain converts and spread propaganda.
An efficient mechanism to extract funding from individuals, NGOS, and governments.
A codified set of tenets (industry is bad and must be stopped, plants and the earth come before human progress, humans are expendable).
Yes it’s a religion. You could argue it’s a reincarnation of the old nature worship, the most primitive kind of religion. Another sign humanity is devolving.
