Supposedly hes in Connecticut for the Jewish sabbath, but come on. We all know hes in Barbados. Laughing his ass off.
Already, theyve wheeled in the cots for members and staff who choose to slumber party the night away in the Capitol, or Senate offices. But tomorrow, bright and early, all of them could need to be on hand for procedural reasons. For instance, Democrats expect to have to waive a budget point of order they expect Republicans to raise against the defense appropriations bill. That requires 60 votes
After being assured by Democratic and Republican leaders that his vote was not needed to pass the Defense Appropriations bill, Senator Lieberman went to Connecticut to spend the Sabbath and the last night of Hanukkah with his wife, Hadassah, and their children and grandchildren, reads a statement to TPMDC from Liebermans spokesman Marshall Wittmann.
--
That means Democrats will be relying on at least one Republican to help them get the defense bill over a procedural bump in order to push them back on to health care. Theyre crossing their fingers.

8 The animals take cover;
they remain in their dens
Especially snakes in DC!
Climate Chande screws the LIBS. HAHAHAHAHAH!
Damn, that’s a hell of a snow, even for Wisconsin. We had 14inches in Madison last week, and Madison WI knows how to deal with snow. DC, no way. Hopefully, it will keep Bambi in Nopenhagen.
Has he even been there for awhile or does he get to vote from the hospital or home. Have not seen him on c-span or TV. Think the MSM is covering for him???

The schedule for the rest of the year will be grueling, with several early-morning votes projected. Those will tax some of the Senate’s more senior members, such as ailing Sen. Robert C. Byrd, West Virginia Democrat. His colleagues broke out in applause for the 92-tear-old senator as he was brought in his wheelchair to the Senate floor for Friday morning’s vote.
And freeze, we'll pick up the bodies come the thaw. :)
Not to worry, Snow, Collins, McCain will step up and vote to ‘help get it to the floor’!
Damn, I love those guys, always so thoughtful and making sure everyone ‘gets a fair shake’.
The last I heard, he’s at home, but he’s in and out of the hospital quite a lot.
I think he has a residency in Washington, D.C.
I’m here and the real snow (as opposed to Olympia) in DC just started!
Wow, any Freepers in the storms path? We will need a live thread.
Wish it was me here in Michigan!
Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va. , heads to the Senate floor for a vote on Capitol Hill in Washington, Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
Hope they changed his sheets before they wheeled him in
We all know who that one Republican traitor will be. However, there are several more candidates now.
I for one and not paying for insurance and I am sure as hell not going to pay for Hillary’s 100 billion for cap and trade.
I don’t know how to get Byrd around, but I do know that if you combine “Byrd, Hummer, and quorum” all in the same sentence, Barney Frank will be there even if there’s a nuclear blast.
Just Wow. I’m going upstairs to get my Bible and read that passage for myself.
Crap, one inch in DC puts everything at a standstill!!!!
Actually, if anybody's playing with the Evil Weather Machine, it's probably China. They have the capability and have been using it in their own country with plenty of glitches. They're not happy about the global warming conspiracy to clamp down on their economic development. I wouldn't put it past them at all to arrange a blizzard in Washington DC to welcome President Obama home from the Copenhagen farce.
Please start a live thread ... this is a monster storm, especially for DC and the entire east coast.
