ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said she cut short her Hawaii vacation because of paparazzi, who photographed her wearing a sun visor with the name of John McCain blacked out.
The pictures were circulated widely on the Internet with speculation the redaction was a slight against McCain, but Palin said she meant no disrespect to her former GOP running mate.
"In an attempt to 'go incognito,' I Sharpied the logo out on my sun visor so photographers would be less likely to recognize me and bother my kids or other vacationers," Palin said in a statement.

What do you think those cansequences are? - That she gets more free publicity from the morons? - This coverage won't be negative to anyone that is relevant; Reid and Pelousey aren't her constituency. (neither are you)

Obviously if she's wearing a blackened hat that used to say "McCain/Palin", she knows that they will try and find her.

You think she knew she would be found but had NO IDEA what would happen..and then VOILA..she sees what happens and cuts and runs...about the time people see her black out a cap that she just happened to bring to Hawaii..when she obviously has other hats..and could spend 10 bucks and get a different one.
So she had NO IDEA what would happen..or she did know...but had no idea the consequences..or she just did a cut and run like she did with her job in Alaska.
You can’t explain this away as her being astute. Somewhere along the line she blew it.
I don’t care to continue this line of postings. She better get a clue and better advisors... and you all do her no favor by not recognizing this was a blunder.

You didn't answer the questions. Obviously, if you had a reasonable point the questions wouldn't be a problem for you. But they are, so ironically you choose to "cut and run".
The Palins wanted to take a vacation on the beach. The Palins were concerned that at some point they would be recognized. The Palins were able to enjoy the beach for several days before they were recognized.
Off with their heads!! LOL.
BTW, the hat was a "McCain/Palin" hat. Both the name McCain and Palin were crossed off. It wasn't just "McCain" that was crossed off like was reported in the media.
So the punch line of the entire story was a Drive-By created lie. Without it there is no supposed Palin caper.
I think it fits right into her personality. shes a rebel. unconventional.
