ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said she cut short her Hawaii vacation because of paparazzi, who photographed her wearing a sun visor with the name of John McCain blacked out.
The pictures were circulated widely on the Internet with speculation the redaction was a slight against McCain, but Palin said she meant no disrespect to her former GOP running mate.
"In an attempt to 'go incognito,' I Sharpied the logo out on my sun visor so photographers would be less likely to recognize me and bother my kids or other vacationers," Palin said in a statement.

Don’t you love it when a plan comes together? Those who don’t like her are outing themselves well before she’s a candidate...lol. How quickly they flock to threads with negative titles about her. It reminds me of mad dashes at Walmart sales; people tripping over one another.
The visor incident was entirely over-blown and it wasn’t carried on any of the media I watch or listen to, but of course, the one thread here, is still going on, fueled mostly by those who don’t like her.
Sarah comes out on top every time and this trivia is meaningless. I admire her for so many reasons, but her inner strength is such that it can only come from God.
She is God blessed, and we are blessed to have her. I’m certain you agree.

By the time I finished Sarah’s book I was so angry at the media I was fit to be tied. Dirtbags doesn’t come close.
Oh I don’t deny that some people might do that but I would seriously not care. If Hillary did the same thing I would not care. What she wears on her head is her business. Now if her hat said something disparaging to America or something like that yeah I would care, otherwise can care less. And as far as Sarah doing it now, McCain is not her running mate anymore.
