Don’t be too proud. I’m not convinced that pseudo-conservatives like Prime Minister Harper and Alberta Premier Stelmach won’t drink the GW Kool-aid after the U.S. caves. The only world leader who has any integrity on this issue is Vaclav Klaus of the Czech Republic. Klaus remains unrepentant in his dismissal of the GW cult as the new Socialism.

“Tar sands are a bitumen deposit, containing heavy oil, that has very high levels of carbon, which is released as a heat-trapping greenhouse-gas when burned.”
Whoever wrote this doesn’t know jack - which is about par for the course for most journalists when it comes to anything scientific or technical. Not that I think it matters, but CO2 emissions from the tar sands bitumen are high relative to lighter crude oils due to the energy used in processing it - the final product doesn’t produce any more carbon emissions when consumed than any other petroleum product.

Clive, 70% of Canadians DO support the AGW scam. Harper himself does not believe it this scam, but he is sheepish to speak up. Perhaps he understood clear message sent to him by the fascists and posted on Liberal Party web site.
Canada is net producer of Oxygen, our footprint is NEGATIVE (i.e. Canada consumes more CO2 then emited),yet the scum want to tax us for breathing.
Greens are the fascists of 2000's.

A truly moronic statement — that reveals the breadth and depth of ignorance of the average eco-fascist.

So the Canadian presence at this conference WAS a success. This, in conjunction with the news that PM Harper was NOT invited to the attend the closed door meeting, hosted by Maobama is fabulous news. Harper is showing some spine....Do you all realize that this is actually the third snub that Maobama has landed on Harper? It must be coming clear to Harper that he is simply not liked by the man..... and that is by implication, a good thing.

Green groups on Friday named Canada "Fossil of the Year" -- an award that...
Canada branded 'Colossal Fossil' at climate talksDoes anyone really care what Green Groups say or even think?
Aside from politicians, the unemployable, the welfare leeches, the insane, the parasites of society and government bureaucrats, that is.
